Vacural Technology

E-mail Print PDF

The patented Vacural process is a tried-and-trusted method that has been used for many years to produce castings with an extremely low level of gas and oxide inclusions.

The process permits production-safe manufacture of:

+ Highly ductile structural and chassis components

+ Thin-walled, weldable chassis components

+ Coatable surface parts

The extremely low level of gas inclusions in castings produced using VACURAL technology enables the mechanical properties of the part to be changed by means of heat treatment after casting.

In this way it is possible to ensure high static and dynamic stability as well as high ductility.
